monthly challenge
Sorry guys I forgot all about letting you know who won the champion of champion monthly winner -
The winner is “”"”Toni-Lee Halliday”
Congratulations Toni-lee – she is the proud winner of a $20-00 voucher. Thankyou to all those that voted and participated throughout the year of 2007. And dont forget that it is running again in 2008 – I did not have enough participants for January so February challenge is now on sale – so come and have a go- due to be handed in last week of Feb.
Give it a go – you may even enjoy the challenge.
Garage Sale
I have been thinking for a while now how to do a swap of some sorts – like they have on alot of scrapbooking sites. But Christine showed me this idea today and I think it is awesome.
GARAGE SALE: Open invitation for you to come to the shop on a nominated day (it will be either a sat or sun) to either sell your unwanted scrapbooking products or to buy some bargain products. Can be tools, products, bags - anything. Used or new .There would be a set fee for the seller of $5-00 and all costings and length of stay on the day is all up to you. Buyer – well just come and see what you may get – who knows what people might just want to get rid of. I will also have the shop open on the day and will have tea, coffee, cakes & softdrinks to buy on the day.
I would love to get some feed back from you all to see if this appeals to you – post a comment on the blog or email me on completeairnt@bigpond.com and state whether you would like to be buyer or seller or both even – so I can see if worth doing – I won’t hold you to it I just want to get a feel of what the interest would be .If everyone would plan to be a buyer and no sellers it might not work. I think this is very exciting myself and what an opportunity for everyone – especially those that may be just thinking of setting up this may help. If you could also state whether sat or sun would be better and I will go with the most popular.
Depending on the feedback I will keep you posted when this will happen, with more permanant details. Thankyou I am really looking forward to what you all say.
Leanne
i’m back
well actually I was back last week, but have been real slack in catching up with you all – sorry. I hope that you all had a great xmas and new years. Mine was good to catch up with family , but I am glad to be home.
I dont really have much to say as new stock is still on the way and hope to have news shortly but in the mean time come in and check out jo’s first class – it is awesome and have already got some bookings and now only have 6 spots left. (Mandy and Leanne – my absolute faithful class goers you had better ring me soon if you want to book in.) So I am sure there is only 4 spots left now. You will go home with 7 pages done. If that is not enough pages to get all those xmas pictures done – dont forget out Friday night workshops. Only $7-00 for 5 hours of fun. Booking essential for both classes and workshops.

general info & new stock.
Sorry everyone – been a couple of weeks since I have done a post – but for those that have been having a look anyway you would have noticed that I have done quite a bit of work on the sidebar. click on any of the pages and you will see all about the classes – getaways etc. Jo has almost most of next year planned for classes and I believe she is almost ready to put her sneak peak up for her xmas layout class. So keep popping back and have a look. You might also want to write down what photos you need to take on xmas day (talk about being organised).
I have had a little bit of new stock in last week and got some of the new range of K & Co. Alot of it is gone already but still have some left. Have a look at the photo link below.
PS – just had a look at the blog and realised the photo comes out quite detailed – if you see anything you like off the photo you can order over the phone with credit card and I can hold for you. If anyone would like a picture of the second board emailed to you let me know. All the ones on the photo on the blog are $2.20 or $2.45
Expression Machine
Yay the machine turned up today , just in time for the workshop tomorrow night. It is Christine’s workshop so she will get to play with it before me – so jealous. Also got about 12 different coloured packs of tear drop Inks – with 4 different colours in each pack and single black tear drops.
I also have two big tables full of very cheap packs of papers, embellishments and stickers. Well worth a look, also all albums are 20% off until all gone – there are some really nice K& Co, timeless tapestry and others to choose from.
Classes – Mothers Love has ben postponed until next thursday 25th October – $19-50 – please call me if you would like to come or just leave a message on my machine.
challenge pack – last one for the year is out for sale now and have till 14th November to hand it in for voting- it is a nice bright one to finish off with. Consists of 2 bright colours , 2 bling buckles and toby sticky backed material. All winners of each month will get a xmas pack to scrap and will need to have in handed in by the 1st of December – I will let you know when I get them packed up. So come in and have a go at the last one left. The winner gets a $20 voucher to spend so give it a go .
I am sure you will hear from me very soon as I am expecting more deliveries very soon.
Hello world!
Hi guys,
This is my attempt at blogging. My plans are hopefully to keep this updated so that you can see classes, workshops, 12 hour scraps, and competitions etc. I will also post on here everytime I get new things in so keep popping back to see the updates. I will start with pasting my last two emails on here as there are alot of new people added to my email list so my apologies to those that have already seen these. And as I get more proficient at it – hopefully I might be able to do some great things – who knows.
email sent on the 5/10/07
Hello everyone it is Leanne here.WELL where do I start.
First of all I am sorry to anyone that went out to the shop this week and realised that it is closed this week that was a little out of my control and my sincerest apologies.
and second of all yes, that question that might be on your mind right now is ” Yes I am back” the sale has fallen through and if you want to know all the gos you need to come in and visit (hey that was a good trick to get you all here)
On the down side of all this – Unfortuantly I did really need to sell as most of you all know I have my business “complete airconditioning” and it is suffering with out my full attention – so I have had to compromise and I truly hope that it will be Ok with you all and it will still work – but now just a little differently.
The main survival of my shop really was the extra curriculum that we did – Friday nightworkshops (although these will need a little tweaking as not so many coming to these), my 12 hour scraps (which always have a waitlist) and the getaways. Classes I will need to see what happens with the interest in these over the next few months, so all these activities I will really be making work and have some new ideas for these, especially the Friday night workshops.
Retail shop- well this is where I need to do my comprimise and shop will only be open on two days. I am planning to have a permanent sale on alot of stuff in the shop to make some more room to make the tables a permanent fixture in the shop for all the scrapping we will be doing. I will be continuing to hold all the cardstock, bazzill and specialty papers and will also get in new stuff all the time – but in limited quantities and will be first in best dressed “so to speak. I will also email alot more regulary with what exactly I get in every time I get new stock and if pay by credit card over phone can hold stock for you. So if you know of anyone who you think would like to join the email list get them to email me or phone me with their address. I am also there everyday in Complete air office – during school hours and will answer the phone so if in need of something I am there and will open if you call.
Shop Hours – Thursday 8:30 - 2:30
and Friday 8:30 – 2:30 and every friday night 7pm - midnight (there will be one friday every 2 months that it wont be open till Midnight – but this is when we are having the 12 hour scrap and will be open all day that sunday) That might change if the friday night scraps dont pick up and then it will be every fortnight not every Friday.
I am hoping this will cover everyone that can come during the daytime and also the people who can never get to the shop as they work full time. I am really sorry I know this will inconvience a few people, but it is the only way that I can stay open at all.
I hope to see you all soon and dont forget the Friday night workshops – awsome time is had by all and it is also a night out with lots of inspiration and (no kids)))))).
I would love to hear back any responses – good or bad.
Many regards
Leanne

Ok its me again – yeah I know you will all die of shock 2 emails in one week
Since I had my little break from the shop I have been really checking out this website www.embellished.com.au – jo Carey got me onto it and over the last 4 weeks have been looking at it – it has taken me that long to get the jist of it all and know what is going on as their is heaps of info and lots of inspiration. It is like the website i always dreamed of but know I will never get, so if you cant beat em join em. I am thinking it will be really good for our Friday night scraps as they have a challenge every friday night – which I entered in this week – so have a look – my user name is beehappy. They also have a chatroom set up on friday nights so our workshop can be even bigger and talk to members, there are people from anywhere between New Zealand to Tasmania. Also if you cant make it on Friday nights – you can still enter and we can get the darwin spirit happening. Anyway have a look if you want – I have had a ball working it all out and was really excited today when I uploaded my picture and it actually worked.
Now what is coming in – hopefully. i have ordered but what I get is another thing. Will let you know when it is in – When it comes in I will get you some images and dont forget – limited stock.
4 pack dew drop inks – about 10 different colour packs
new basic grey chipboard alphabets
New Luxe design polo shirt papers and rubons
the blue bouique range from sassafrass
and Basic grey rubons
On Pre-order is
the new Queen and co felt fusion
Sassafrass – Royal bliss and starry night line
and the Basic grey Figgy pudding packs
all these are new CHA releases even the stuff ordered already.
Oh and I have ordered the expression machine as I have decided the cricut machine looks quite nice in my scrapbook room at home- so hopefully that will be here soon too.
I am going to cull out my email list very shortly and delete all the ones that bounce all the time. If by any chance you dont recieve another email over the next two weeks, email me again to add you back on to the list and my apologies in advance if I accidently take you off.
regards
Leanne
